INSPIRATIONAL DOCUMENTARY FILMS

Many individuals can benefit greatly from stories of inspiration showing how others have overcome hurdles, be they physical limitations or perceived limitations.  Currently, the Lil’ Red Foundation is involved in producing two documentary films with several others under consideration.  The first tells the story of how Serge Roetheli overcame immense obstacles to achieve his dream of being the first human to run the distance of the circumference of the world; on this trek he also raised awareness of the plight of children in Third World countries.  The second documentary in the inspiration story of how a deaf and dumb individual of small stature became an accomplished major league baseball player.  William “Dummy” Hoy hit the first American League grand slam home run, throw out three base runners at home plate from center field in one game (a record that still stands over 100 years later), and was instrumental in umpires using hand signals to signify balls and strikes for batters and safe and out for base runners–a tradition from which fans today continue to benefit.

“Enthusiasm is by far the highest paid quality on earth, probably because it is one of the rarest; yet it is one of the most contagious.
-Frank Bettger, sales consultant
